About CBUS

Created by workers, for workers, CBUS Super is one of Australia’s most successful Superannuation funds. For over four decades we’ve proudly represented those who help shape Australia, hard-working individuals who deserve to make the most of their retirement, no matter the industry. As an award-winning fund we’ve been recognised for the benefits provided to our members and our innovative investment approach. All while staying committed to our member first ethos as a proud Industry Fund.

About the role

We have two opportunities available for Senior Analysts to join our Line 1 Monitoring, Controls & Governance team, to strengthen CBUS's technology risk framework and support the delivery of secure, resilient technology services for our members.

These newly-created roles are both critical in ensuring technology risks, incidents, controls and remediation activities are effectively managed and reported.

As Senior Analyst, Monitoring, you will support effective incident and breach management, governance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives that help protect members, critical services and the broader organisation.

As Senior Analyst, Controls, you will build strong relationships and partner closely with stakeholders to monitor control effectiveness, support compliance obligations, coordinate remediation activities and provide meaningful insights that help drive informed decision-making.

Key accountabilities:

- Support technology risk identification and assessment and strengthen the effectiveness of the control environment, including maintenance of the risk register and GRC framework across key technology functions.
- Monitor risk and control performance, identify control gaps, assess risk appetite and coordinate treatment and remediation activities through to effective resolution.
- Conduct technology and third-party risk assessments, supporting the implementation and embedding of controls that meet regulatory, risk and compliance obligations.

- Prepare risk and compliance reporting for governance forums and Board Committees, providing visibility of key risks, control effectiveness, incidents, breaches, issues and remediation progress.
- Coordinate incident, breach and issue management activities, including root cause analysis, effectiveness reviews and closure of actions to support sustainable remediation outcomes.

What will you bring?

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, technology, information security or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in risk, audit, assurance or compliance, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Robust experience supporting risk management, remediation oversight and risk reporting.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing executive and governance reporting.
- Relevant certifications - CRISC, CISM, or CISSP - will be well regarded, but are not essential
