The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join the QLD delivery team. Working closely with Project Managers and Site Teams, you will take commercial ownership across the full project lifecycle—from procurement and letting through to final accounts—ensuring strong financial performance and risk management on significant commercial new builds.

Key Responsibilities

- Procurement &
- Trade Letting: Prepare comprehensive trade packages, issue tenders, perform detailed head-to-head tender analyses, and negotiate subcontracts.

- Financial Management: Manage project cash flow, process monthly progress claims, variations, and final accounts for both sub-contractors and head contracts.

- Cost Reporting: Maintain strict budget control, monitor forecasting, and deliver accurate monthly financial reporting (CPR/CVR).

- Head Contract &

- Subcontract Administration: Administer head contracts and subcontracts, ensuring strict compliance with timelines, EOTs,



and contractual notices.

- Relationship &

- Risk Management: Establish collaborative relationships with client representatives, consultants, sub-contractors, and internal delivery teams to resolve commercial issues proactively.

Key Requirements

- Experience: 8-10 years plus of Contracts Administration experience within the Australian commercial construction sector (Tier 2/3 head contracting background highly regarded).

- Project Profile: Proven track record delivering commercial new build projects, ideally with exposure to packages up to $30M–$40M.

- Qualification: Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Jobpac, Cheops, Procore, or similar construction management software, alongside advanced Excel skills.

- Skillset: Sharp negotiation skills, deep understanding of Queensland security of payment legislation (BIF Act), and a strong commercial eye for risk mitigation.
