- Brisbane CBD Location with flexibility to WFH 2-3 days per week (could also be located in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Perth or Darwin)
- SBA required with Baseline Clearance and experience in MS Dynamics & PowerApps

Our client, a large complex Federal Government Agency are currently seeking 2 x Senior Business Analysts for initial 3+3mth contracts. MUST HAVE BASELINE CLEARANCE. The successful candidates will be talented and experienced Senior Business Analysts with a strong track record of project delivery. To align with the current scope of work, two alternative skillsets are being targeted.
- Demonstrated experience in either of the following:
- 1. Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps; OR
- 1. ServiceNow and service catalogue management.

Responsibilities include:

- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements;
- Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements;
- Identifying issues, risks and advantages of existing and proposed solutions;
- Generating information and insights from data and identifying trends and patterns.
- Act as the key liaison between stakeholders, testers, developers and project teams

The Senior Business Analyst will play a role in all parts of the project and development lifecycle including user story/use case development, supporting business transition and helping to establish change. The key priorities for the branch are to:

- Launch technologies that solve critical business issues and create new regulatory capabilities.
- Develop agency data assets that drive responsive and effective regulatory outcomes.

Essential criteria

- A proven ability to prepare high quality business analysis deliverables and apply structured business analysis techniques and critical thinking to business problems.




- A proven ability to deliver large, concurrent deliverables to deadline, using initiative and responding flexibly to change and uncertainty
- A demonstrated ability to engage effectively and work cohesively with internal and external stakeholders
- Clear, concise, and articulate oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
- Proven experience facilitating workshops and managing diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated experience in either of the following:
- 1. Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps; OR
- 1. ServiceNow and service catalogue management.

Desirable criteria

- Understanding and experience working within system development and project management methodologies, and Agile experience would be highly desirable
