ROLE – Senior Civil Engineer

SALARY - $160,000 - $200,000 per annum, dependent on experience

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Perth, WA

My client is a leading engineering consultancy delivering specialist solutions across the mining sector. They are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Perth.

The Senior Civil Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

- At least 5 years of experience in a Civil Engineering, Design Engineering, or similar role
- Strong experience working on land development, civil infrastructure, mining or resources projects
- Strong understanding of drainage design and experience working through drainage calculations
- Experience with earthworks, roads, stormwater, drainage, bulk earthworks or similar civil infrastructure
- Experience producing civil designs, engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation
- Ideally have experience using civil design and/or 3D modelling software
- Experience working through projects from concept and detailed design through to construction
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
- Solid technical, project coordination and problem-solving skills




- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team

The Senior Civil Engineer role will involve:

- Producing concept designs, detailed engineering drawings, civil layouts and technical documentation
- Working on land development, drainage, earthworks, roads and other civil infrastructure projects
- Undertaking and reviewing drainage calculations and hydraulic design
- Developing civil designs and solutions for mining, resources and infrastructure projects
- Preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, reports and technical documentation
- Working collaboratively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams
- Providing technical engineering support across design, procurement and construction
- Coordinating project activities to ensure programmes, budgets and quality requirements are achieved
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers
- Working within a collaborative engineering consultancy on a variety of mining and resources projects
