About the role

We're seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to develop and deliver compelling proactive and reactive customer communications for our Linkt retail brand. You'll join an innovative team, who are passionate about creating a positive customer experience. As our Senior Communications Specialist, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

Day-to-day, you will:

- Develop quality, on-brand content that drives customer action and supports business objectives.
- Lead the development of tailored communications for incidents, technical upgrades, and other reactive scenarios.
- Research and create content across a wide range of channels, including email, SMS, app notifications, website content and paid media for customer campaigns.
- Advise and partner with internal stakeholders to gather project needs and create tailored communication plans.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Affairs team to support high-impact customer communications that may have reputational impact.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and agency partners, including establishing quotes, production schedules, and delivery of materials.
- Support the Communications Lead to ensure the communications strategy remains current and relevant for our customers' needs.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creating compelling content.




- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner effectively with a diverse range of internal teams and external vendors.
- Proven experience managing diverse communication requirements, often within short time frames.
- A strategic mindset with experience in developing communications and incident response strategies.
- A natural curiosity for understanding customer needs and using data insights to solve complex problems and improve the customer experience.
