About Our Client

We're seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team in a role that offers broad exposure across financial reporting, business partnering, process improvement, budgeting and compliance. Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in driving financial accuracy, supporting strategic decision making, and contributing to ongoing business improvement initiatives

- Lead key aspects of the month-end and quarter-end close process

- Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

- Deliver monthly management reporting and variance analysis

- Support board reporting and budgeting processes

- Maintain cash flow forecasts and monitor banking transactions

- Support payroll accounting, payroll reconciliations and related control accounts

- Assist with BAS, tax and statutory reporting requirements

- Maintain fixed asset registers and lease accounting schedules

- Partner with leaders across the organisation to provide financial guidance and insights

- Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation initiatives

- Support interim and year-end audit requirements





- Mentor and support transactional finance team members while promoting strong financial controls and governance.

The Successful Applicant

- Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

- CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion

- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant position

- Robust understanding of financial reporting, compliance and accounting standards

- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems capability

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- The ability to build relationships across all levels of a business

- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, construction, logistics or similar environments will be advantageous.
