responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties at Lucky Mens Hair Studio: Consulting with clients to understand their hairdressing requirements, preferred hairstyles and individual grooming needs. Cutting, trimming,



shaping and styling hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other professional hairdressing equipment. Performing modern and traditional haircuts, including fades, taper cuts, layering, texturising and other contemporary hairstyles.

Providing qualified hair curling services using specialised styling tools. Applying a variety of curling techniques, including spiral curls, soft curls, beach waves, voluminous curls and occasion-specific hairstyles. Performing hair straightening, blow-drying, heat styling and finishing services to achieve clients' desired hairstyles.

Performing hair colouring, highlighting, bleaching and colour correction services using appropriate professional techniques. Providing chemical hair treatments, including permanent waving, relaxing and straightening, in accordance with client requirements and hair conditions. Examining clients' hair and scalp conditions and recommending suitable treatments and haircare products.

Providing professional beard trimming, shaping, shaving and grooming services. Advising clients on suitable hairstyles, hair colours, grooming techniques and ongoing hair maintenance. Applying appropriate shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments and styling products based on individual hair types and conditions.

Maintaining professional knowledge of emerging haircutting, colouring, curling and hairstyling techniques. Cleaning, sanitising and maintaining scissors, clippers, brushes, combs, curling equipment and other salon tools. Maintaining salon cleanliness and ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety and hygiene requirements.





Scheduling and managing client appointments to ensure efficient salon operations and timely service delivery. Monitoring salon supplies, haircare products and equipment and advising management when replenishment is required. Providing guidance and technical assistance to junior hairdressers and other salon staff, where required.

Ensuring all hairdressing services are delivered to a high professional standard while maintaining excellent client satisfaction. Qualification &

experience The successful candidate should possess: A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional hairdressing experience . Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent relevant qualification. Proven experience in professional haircutting, trimming, styling and hair finishing. Demonstrated skills in hair colouring, heat styling, curl setting and different curling techniques.

Experience with hair colouring and chemical treatments. Strong knowledge of hairdressing products, tools, techniques and salon hygiene practices. Ability to work independently and manage client appointments efficiently. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively as part of a small salon team.
