Senior Investment Manager – Real Estate Private Equity

Sydney | Permanent | Competitive base + bonus A leading client is hiring a Senior Investment Manager to look after its JV interest in an operating business backed by real estate, with a development pipeline to deliver and a platform to build up before exit.

You’ll spend about half your time on this investment for the next five years. The other half goes on new deals across a growing portfolio of other investments - all backed by underlying real estate.

What you’ll do

- Be the investor rep alongside the JV partner and the operating company
- Shape outcomes through governance, not operational control
- Own the model, performance tracking and IC reporting
- Oversee development, debt and exit planning
- Lead an Analyst and manage specialist advisers

What you’ll bring





- 10+ years in real estate PE, platform investing, funds management or corporate finance
- Experience investing in operating companies with a strong real estate component
- A track record as investor rep in shareholdings alongside JV partners
- Experience managing a direct report
- Strong modelling skills and debt/covenant experience
- The confidence to hold your own view
