About The Role

Are you an experienced M365/Azure Specialist who thrives on project delivery rather than log-standard ticket queues?

We are partnering with a peak national industry body in Melbourne CBD to secure a Senior M365 &

- Identity Administrator. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology, this role is 60–80% project-focused, taking technical ownership of cloud integrations, identity governance, and security maturity.

This is a dedicated systems administration, scripting, and platform engineering role—not a software development position.

Key Projects &

Responsibilities

- Platform Integrations &
- Automation: Build and maintain automated integrations between Applications, Azure Runbooks, and M365 to seamlessly sync user lifecycles and departmental changes.

- Identity &

- Security (Essential Eight): Lead identity governance across Entra ID, Intune, and Conditional Access, driving platform maturity towards Essential 8 Level 2 compliance.

- AI &

- Modern Workplace: Help govern and roll out enterprise AI capabilities,



leveraging Copilot Pro licenses across the organisation.

- L3 Escalation &

- Mentorship: Provide L3 technical support to internal Application Engineers and Helpdesk teams (~130 total tickets/month across the business).

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineers and Salesforce Developers on access management, resource provisioning, and system connections.

What We are Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in M365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune administration.

- Solid hands-on capability writing PowerShell scripts and using Azure Runbooks for administrative automation.

- Practical understanding of identity lifecycle management and HR system integrations

- Experience or strong interest in cyber security baselines (e.g., Essential Eight) and AI tools like Copilot.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a close-knit, highly team-oriented team of 8.
