As Senior Media Relations & PR Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of media and public relations initiatives that support Versatile Group's growth ambitions and strengthen our brand presence across key markets.

You'll work closely with senior leaders across the business to identify newsworthy opportunities, position executives as industry thought leaders and build strong relationships with journalists, editors and key media stakeholders.

This role will suit an experienced communications professional who enjoys operating at both a strategic and hands-on level and has a proven ability to deliver measurable media outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

- Develop and execute integrated media relations and PR strategies.
- Identify and generate proactive media opportunities, project announcements and company news.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with business, property, construction and trade media.
- Create compelling media releases, opinion pieces, executive profiles, speeches and communication materials.
- Support executive thought leadership and reputation-building initiatives.
- Manage media enquiries and assist with issues management and crisis communications when required.
- Monitor media performance and provide insights, reporting and recommendations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximise communications outcomes.

About You

You'll bring

- 8+ years' experience in media relations, public relations, corporate communications or corporate affairs.
- A strong track record of securing positive media coverage and building media relationships.
- Experience working in either a PR agency, corporate environment or a combination of both.
- Exceptional written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience advising senior executives and leadership teams.
- Robust commercial awareness and sound judgement.
- The ability to think strategically while remaining highly execution-focused.
- Experience within property, development, construction, infrastructure or related industries will be highly regarded.
