WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This role would suit an established broker who already understands the realities of mortgage broking and is looking for their next platform for growth.

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated mortgage broking experience and the ability to manage clients from initial conversation through to settlement
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, with a Diploma highly regarded
- Current or ability to obtain required industry memberships and accreditations
- Solid knowledge of residential and investment lending




- Experience with refinancing and debt consolidation
- An understanding of responsible lending, compliance and lender policy
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- An existing client or referral network, or demonstrated ability to generate business
- A genuine commitment to excellent client outcomes

Experience in SMSF, bridging, commercial, business or asset finance would be highly regarded, but you don't need to specialise in everything.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is proactive, ethical, collaborative and wants to grow.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a commission-only position and would particularly suit an established broker who wants greater flexibility and autonomy without having to operate completely alone.

You will have the freedom to build your own book and relationships while having access to the FAM team, systems, support and opportunities around you.

We believe good brokers should be spending their time talking to clients, building relationships and structuring great outcomes, not getting buried unnecessarily in administration.

And as FAM grows, there is genuine prospect for the right person to grow with us.
