One full time vacancy fixed to 03/08/2028 is available An exciting opportunity awaits for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care Occupational Therapy team!
The Role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in clinical leadership, quality improvement, service development, staff supervision and development, as well as providing high level clinical care and expertise. Opportunities currently exist within our medical or surgical stream, dependent on the skills and experience of the applicant.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative Senior leadership team of senior clinicians and management, ensuring you have the resources and mentorship to thrive in your role.
About you:
To be successful, applicants will have:
- 5+ years post-graduate experience, delivering high-level, contemporary occupational therapy services
- An understanding of Aboriginal culture and/or experience working with patients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, supervise, and support staff and students.
- Exceptional organisational skills, capable of managing a high-volume, fast paced, complex caseload effectively.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in clinical practice.
