About the Job The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Brisbane team. You will support the successful delivery of our multi-discipline, Greenfield and Brownfield projects, from study phase, through to execution and handover. We are a collaborative team of engineering, design and project delivery professionals, keen for you to join us with your innovative ideas and the chance for you to broaden your experience.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
- Effective management for the delivery of multiple projects at various stages throughout the project lifecycle, ranging from engineering design to full EPCM services.
- Ensure the project conforms to the approved scope of work including applicable legislative, regulatory and code requirements to achieve the Client’s objectives.
- Programming and planning of works, including resource planning and preparation, monitoring and updating of project specific plans and schedules.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, including engineering and design teams across multiple locations, to ensure effective communication of project objectives, scope and progress.
- Collaborate with engineering and designs teams to produce fit for purpose innovative technical solutions and implementation strategies to solve complex project problems.
- Accurate, timely and effective project tracking and reporting with major issues promptly escalate to the leadership team.
- Identify risks and opportunities to provide visibility to stakeholders and ensure relevant mitigation measures are implemented.
- Facilitate and participate in project review meetings.
- Proactively engage and collaborate effectively, navigate complex issues and continue to strengthen respectful relationships with our valued clients and stakeholders.
- Execute a working knowledge of contractual compliance relevant to the project.




- Support procurement and subcontract processes to ensure the works algin with project scope, budget and schedule requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Engineering (structural, mechanical, electrical), Project Management, or capable of demonstrating relevant career experience.
- 6+ years’ industry experience in the successful delivery of projects across multiple clients and stakeholders, in the mining, minerals processing, construction or similar heavy industries.
- Lead by example, creating a culture of safety, quality, and environmental awareness.
- Self-motivated and decisive, able to organise and prioritise competing demands and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting and contracts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the capability of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels.
