We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Contracts & Superintendent Services to join our Brisbane team.

The opportunity is for someone who enjoys being actively involved in client-side project delivery with a focus on contract preparation, contract management and Superintending projects during construction.

This is a role for someone who understands that successful project delivery requires more than simply administering a contract. Working across a variety of diverse and challenging projects ranging from minor works through to $50m in value, you will work closely with our client, project delivery team, consultants and contractors as an integrated member of the project delivery team, while also bringing the experience and judgement required to effectively administer construction contracts in the role of Superintendent.

In the role you will be responsible for:

- Understanding client requirements, project objectives, program, budget and key project risks.

- Working collaboratively with project teams, consultants and contractors to drive successful project outcomes.

- Preparing and coordinating construction contract documentation during tender, including contract particulars,



amendments and project-specific requirements.

- Managing, and providing support and guidance to our team of Project Managers (who will typically act as Superintendent's Representative) during the tender and construction phase of projects.

- Overseeing the administration of construction contracts and ensuring contractual obligations, processes and timeframes are appropriately met and managed.

- Assessing and determining contractual claims, including variations, extensions of time and progress claims.

- Maintaining the appropriate independence and judgement required when performing Superintendent functions.

- Identifying and resolving project, commercial and contractual risks and issues.

- Providing clear and practical advice to clients on project delivery and contractual matters.

- Participating in and, where appropriate, leading project, site and contract administration meetings.

- Supporting delivery of projects to program, budget and quality expectations.

Key Criteria To be considered for the role applicants would need to demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:

- Demonstrated experience acting as Superintendent or Superintendent's Representative on construction projects.

- Strong client-side project management and stakeholder management skills.





- A thorough understanding of contract administration, construction processes, risk management and contractual principles.

- Strong knowledge of Australian Standard construction contracts, particularly AS 2124 and AS 4300.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Experience across projects ranging from minor works and refurbishments through to new construction.

- Experience in Education, Community or similar sectors will be highly regarded but is not essential.
