Edwards Saddleworld Toowoomba is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated senior retail store assistant. We are a local family-owned business that prides itself on having exceptional customer service skills and being knowledgeable within the equine industry.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service skills
- Assist customers with enquiries and sales
- Maintain store presentation and stock levels
- Build product knowledge to confidently support and advise customers
- Accurately label stock merchandise
About you
- Available to work two weekends a month and at least 3 days a week
- Horse knowledge/experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in retail sales
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Self-motivated, energetic and extremely proactive
- Attention to detail
- Can work in a high paced setting with competing priorities
- The willingness to travel for store trade stands
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft office applications
- A desire to upskill and learn and can adapt to new tasks and technologies
