We are partnering with a growing specialist underwriting business seeking an experienced Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team.

This role will suit someone who understands the unique operational, regulatory and governance requirements of the Lloyd's market and delegated authority arrangements, and who enjoys working closely with underwriting, operations, data and finance teams to drive best practice across the business.

- Delegated authority arrangements
- Binder management
- Binding authorities
- Bordereaux reporting and validation
- Underwriting governance
- Lloyd's market requirements
- Insurance operations and data controls

You'll be responsible for ensuring the business maintains robust compliance, governance and reporting frameworks while supporting continued growth across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and enhance the Risk & Compliance Framework
- Monitor regulatory developments and insurance market requirements
- Identify, assess and manage compliance breaches, emerging risks and control weaknesses
- Oversee governance, policy and regulatory obligations
- Perform quality assurance reviews of binding authorities




- Manage end-to-end bordereaux validation and reporting oversight
- Ensure accurate, compliant and high-quality operational reporting
- Drive process improvement, controls enhancement and data governance initiatives
- Partner with underwriting, operations, finance and technology stakeholders
- Support training and compliance awareness across the business

What We're Looking ForHighly Preferred Experience

- Underwriting Agency / MGA experience
- Lloyd's Coverholder or delegated authority experience
- Binder management experience
- Binding authority oversight
- Bordereaux reporting and validation
- Insurance operations, compliance or risk management
- Solid understanding of Lloyd's market requirements

Additional Requirements

- 5+ years' experience in Risk, Compliance, Governance or Insurance Operations
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting controls
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience improving processes, controls and governance frameworks
- Ability to work across both strategic and operational activities
