Working within a small, highly capable Security team, you'll play a key role in protecting modern cloud-based environments while partnering closely with engineering and product teams to embed security into the way technology is designed, built and operated.

Your new role

As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for improving security capabilities across cloud platforms, security operations, identity and DevSecOps practices.

This is a hands-on technical role where you'll work across multiple ventures, helping teams strengthen their security posture while balancing speed, innovation and risk.

Key responsibilities include

Supporting and enhancing Microsoft security capabilities including Defender, Sentinel and Entra ID

Designing and implementing cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments

Improving threat detection, monitoring and security operations processes

Supporting incident response, vulnerability management and remediation activities

Building security automation using Python, PowerShell and cloud-native tooling

Working with engineering teams to embed security within CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines

Supporting identity and access management initiatives, including Conditional Access and privileged access controls





Leveraging Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

Providing security guidance across multiple product and engineering teams

What you'll need to succeed

Demonstrated experience as a Security Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer or similar

Strong experience with the Microsoft Security Suite, including:

Microsoft Defender

Microsoft Sentinel

Microsoft Entra ID

Hands-on AWS security experience

Background in Security Operations, SOC, Incident Response or Detection Engineering

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Python and/or PowerShell

Experience working within DevSecOps environments

Exposure to cloud security platforms such as Wiz will be highly regarded

Ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment

Previous experience within financial services, fintech or highly regulated environments is advantageous
