Senior Siebel Developer – Federal Government

About the Opportunity
Hatchit Studios is seeking experienced Senior Siebel Developers for contract opportunities with a major Australian Federal Government department.
The successful candidates will support the ongoing development, enhancement and sustainment of Siebel CRM solutions underpinning critical aged care services, including the My Aged Care platform.
These roles require strong hands-on Siebel development expertise, integration experience and the ability to deliver reliable, scalable and secure solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
With seven positions available, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Siebel professionals seeking a long-term federal government engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure and unit test Siebel CRM solutions in accordance with technical standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain Siebel integrations using business services, workflows, integration objects, XML and web services.
- Deliver system enhancements, defect resolution, application sustainment and production support.
- Prepare technical solution designs, data model documentation and unit test specifications.
- Conduct code reviews, technical assessments and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with architecture, development, testing, release and production support teams.
- Support deployment, release management and post-release validation activities.
- Provide technical guidance,
mentoring and knowledge transfer to development teams.
- Ensure development activities align with DevSecOps practices, security requirements and departmental standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Siebel CRM development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Siebel configuration, workflows, business services and integration development.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing end-to-end Siebel integration solutions.
- Sound understanding of Siebel Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) components, performance and scalability.
- Experience developing detailed technical documentation and unit test specifications.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and enterprise release management.
- Proven analytical, debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Highly Desirable:
- Siebel 8 Certification.
- Experience with Siebel IP20 or later, including Workspaces.
- Siebel Open UI development experience.
- Advanced debugging using SARM/FDR analysis.
- Siebel EIM and data migration experience.
- Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) reporting experience.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale federal government CRM environments.
