Job: Senior Skype for Business Enterprise Upgrade Engineer

Length: 6 months + potential extension

Clearance Required: NV1

Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra - onsite 5 days The role will be responsible for the technical design, build, upgrade, configuration and transition of the Skype for Business environment, working across infrastructure, communications, networking and enterprise application teams.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Skype for Business Server, Microsoft Teams/UC environments, Active Directory, Windows Server and enterprise telephony, together with proven experience delivering complex upgrades in large organisations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design,



build and maintain enterprise Skype for Business environments.
- Lead and execute Skype for Business platform upgrades and migrations.
- Plan and perform infrastructure changes with minimal disruption to business services.
- Configure and troubleshoot Skype for Business Front End, Back End, Edge and mediation components.
- Manage enterprise voice, SIP, PSTN and SBC integrations.
- Support integration with Microsoft Teams and other collaboration platforms.

Essential Experience

- Extensive hands-on experience with Skype for Business Server 2015/2019.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Skype for Business upgrades or migrations.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, certificates, Windows Server and Group Policy.
