We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a technology team and support a range of data, systems, integration and digital initiatives.
This is a hands-on technical BA role, working across business and technology teams to translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements and deliverable outcomes.
About the Role
You will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Developers and vendors to understand requirements, analyse systems and data, and support the delivery of effective technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include
- Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements
- Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Analyse data structures, data flows, APIs, interfaces and system integrations
- Develop data mappings, process flows and system documentation
- Identify data quality issues, dependencies, impacts and gaps
- Support integration, system and UAT testing
- Conduct impact assessments and contribute to solution design discussions
- Facilitate workshops and requirements sessions
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered
- Support data analysis, reconciliation and validation
- Identify risks, issues, dependencies and constraints
About You You will be an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong understanding of technology, data and integration environments.
You will bring
- Demonstrated experience working as a Technical BA in complex technology environments
- Strong knowledge of data, data flows, data quality and data integration
- Experience with APIs, system integrations and enterprise applications
- Solid requirements elicitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience producing functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and data mappings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working across Agile, hybrid or structured delivery environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting testing, validation and implementation activities
Desirable Experience:
- Okta – IAM, SSO, MFA, provisioning, deprovisioning or lifecycle management
- Workday – HR processes, integrations, data or system interfaces
- Workday–Okta integrations
- IAM / identity platforms
- HRIS or enterprise SaaS platforms
- Cloud and modern integration architectures
- SQL or other data analysis tools
- Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio or Lucidchart
