AutoSparky is a local, family-owned business. Every flat battery, dodgy dual battery setup and dead aircon in the middle of a Centre summer comes through our front counter first. We need someone who can turn a stressed customer into a loyal one and keep a busy workshop running smoothly behind them.
What you’ll do
- Be the first face and voice of AutoSparky, in person, on the phone and by email
- Turn “it’s making a weird noise” into a clear job card our technicians can work with
- Run the bookings board so the workshop stays full without overflowing
- Look after invoicing, payments and data entry so every job is recorded accurately
- Handle the tricky conversations calmly and fairly when things go sideways
- Explain quotes, repairs and timeframes in plain English,
and get approval before extra work starts
You’ll be great at this if you
- Can talk to a station manager, a grey nomad and a tradie in the same hour
- Love a tidy system, accurate invoices and nothing falling through the cracks
- Are confident on a computer with fast, accurate data entry
- Know your way around vehicles, ideally auto electrical (or you’re keen to learn rapid)
- Stay cool under pressure and own the outcome
- Have experience in a service advisor, parts or workshop admin role (preferred, not essential)
