ServiceNow FinOps Specialist
Location: Melbourne, Canberra or Adelaide
Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days home
Contract: 6 months, likely to extend
We are seeking a ServiceNow FinOps Specialist to support cloud financial management, reporting, governance and stakeholder engagement across a large technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
FinOps Reporting & Governance - 50%
- Support monthly financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
- Assist with forecasting, trend analysis and cloud cost transparency.
- Prepare governance packs, metrics and reporting.
- Provide support for IOP planning.
Stakeholder Engagement & OPEX Reviews - 30%
- Coordinate monthly cloud OPEX reviews with application teams.
- Work with stakeholders to collect forecasts, optimisation initiatives and variance commentary.
- Track actions, savings opportunities and remediation commitments.
OGRE Reporting & Support - 20%
- Provide operational, reporting and maintenance support for OGRE, a Python-based custom tool.
- Provide backfill support during Lead Engineer leave or unavailability.
- Assist with OGRE enhancements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years' experience in financial analysis, business reporting, IT operations support or Cloud FinOps .
- Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure and/or OCI cloud platforms and cloud financial management.
- Experience with reporting, forecasting, cost analysis and governance.
- Ability to work across technical and business stakeholders.
Technical skills to support the relevant cloud/FinOps architecture are also required. Desired Skills and Experience ServiceNow FinOps Specialist
