With continued growth across the business, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Service Refrigeration Technician to join our North Lakes-based team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem solving and working both independently and as part of a supportive technical team. You’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, installing and maintaining commercial refrigeration and frozen dessert equipment across a range of customer sites.

Key responsibilities include

- Attending service, breakdown, maintenance and warranty calls
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on refrigeration equipment
- Performing mechanical overhauls and refrigeration reclaiming
- Installing and commissioning machines and equipment
- Testing systems, components and connections using appropriate tools and gauges




- Identifying and replacing worn or defective parts
- Completing job documentation accurately and on time
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with legislative requirements
- Assisting with equipment deliveries and workshop tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A current Driver’s Licence
- ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Restricted Electrical Licence
- Test & Tag qualification/licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, professional and team-focused attitude
