Fitters & Riggers 6 week Shutdown NSW

Seeking Expresions of intrest for 6 week shutdown starting Monday October 19, 2026.

Project Scope & Roles:

Seeking intermediate or advanced riggers, qualified mechanical fitters (industrial or Bluescope experience preffered )

Duration & Work Schedule: T The project runs for approximately six weeks through the end of November, targeting a start date of Monday October 19, 2026. Shifts are scheduled for 10 hours Monday through Friday, plus an 8-hour shift on Saturdays.

Pay Rates: Intermediate/advanced riggers will be paid $50/hour, and mechanical fitters will receive $60/hour penalties for OT.





Travel & Allowances: Client offers LAHA (living away from home allowance), will arrange and cover flights, and can provide accommodation for interstate candidates.

No police or medical checks are required, but random in office drug and alcohol screenings will occur.

Location: Bluescope Port Kembla, specifically based out of Stock House Number 6.

Role Requirements: Fitters must be trade-qualified with an industrial or Bluescope background. Riggers must hold intermediate tickets at minimum, with advanced tickets accepted.

Shift Details: 58 hours per week (10-hour days Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift Saturday)
