About the role

As the Site Supervisor you will oversee day-to-day site operations, lead the on-site team and coordinate trades and subcontractors to deliver works safely, on program, within budget and to Pennant Construction's high quality standards. You will maintain compliance with company procedures and legislative requirements, liaise with project stakeholders and drive works through to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee and manage day-to-day site activity, including subcontractor supervision and coordination of materials

- Run pre-start and toolbox meetings, inductions and safety briefings

- Maintain constant communication with Construction Manager regarding program, issues and site requirements

- Interpret construction drawings and specifications and raise RFI

- Support the resolution of technical and on-site challenges through critical thinking and collaboration

- Ensure all personnel entering site comply with Pennant Construction's Safety Management Plan, policies and procedures

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and reports, including safety audits, quality checks, and incident reporting

- Attend project meetings and represent the company in a professional and respectful manner with clients and stakeholders

About you





- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial construction with proven experience as a site supervisor

- Strong leadership and communication skills with a team first mindset

- Motivated with solid work ethic and willingness to assist with subcontractors to get the work done at critical times

- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications

- Proficient at using Microsoft Office Suite

- Hold current National Police Clearance, white card and valid driver's license
