Viva Leisure is an Australian-owned, ASX-listed health and fitness company, and one of the largest operators in the country. Since 2004, we have been on a mission to connect health and wellness to as many people as possible through awesome, affordable and accessible facilities. Our brands include Club Lime, hiit republic, Plus Fitness, GROUNDUP and Supp Society, and our newest brand, Zoo Fit, launched in Wanneroo, WA in July 2026 and is now rolling out nationally.

As our Social & Content Coordinator in Perth, you will be the on-the-ground creative engine for Zoo Fit in its home state, with support for Club Lime. You will film and edit the content that builds the brand, and you will be the friendly voice answering members and prospective members in the inbox. The role splits roughly 70% content capture and editing, and 30% community management and coordination.

No two weeks look the same. You will be in clubs several days a week, at club openings and member events, and out in the community at grassroots sport and local clubs across Perth metro and regional WA. Zoo Fit proudly sponsors the Fremantle Dockers across both the AFL and AFLW teams, and the Perth Bears ahead of their first NRL season in 2027, so you will be right in the middle of the action, capturing the moments that matter.

You will work closely with the national social team, WA club teams and partner marketing contacts, and report to the Senior Social Media Manager. You will also collaborate with the Marketing Managers, Content team and Creative Studio to create, schedule and publish content that builds the brand and drives results.

You will have access to office space at Zoo Fit Mandurah, Port Kennedy or Wanneroo, depending on where you are located.

If you love fast-paced, creative work, have a great eye for what performs on social, and want to see your content out in the world, this is a hands-on, highly visible role where you can make your mark from day one.

This role is available as a fixed-term full time contract for 12 months with a possibility of extension and/or permanency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of the responsibilities include:

- Filming and editing short form video and stills across Zoo Fit clubs in WA, and building a library of footage the national team can use for campaigns
- Capturing club openings, member events, community days and grassroots sport, from pre-event teasers through to same day cutdowns and recap edits
- Being the on-ground content presence at Fremantle Dockers and Perth Bears activations, and supporting our WA partners and sponsors with content that meets agreed deliverables
- Building relationships with grassroots clubs, local athletes and community organisations to create authentic, locally grounded content
- Editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, applying Zoo Fit brand standards and turning content around quickly
- Owning the Zoo Fit inbox across Instagram,



TikTok and Facebook, with support for Club Lime, and keeping an eye on comments and tags for member stories and feedback
- Contributing ideas to the monthly content calendar and sharing local insights with the national team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

What you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience creating short form social content, backed by a portfolio or active social presence
- Strong mobile and camera videography skills, with a practical understanding of framing, lighting and audio in a gym environment
- Confident editing in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Comfort capturing content in busy, live environments, on the move and to a deadline
- A working knowledge of what performs on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and the judgement to tell a passing trend from a useful one
- Clear, natural written communication, with the ability to hold a brand voice in the inbox
- The organisation to run your own event schedule, confirm access ahead of time and arrive prepared
- A current WA driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends around club activity, events and fixtures

Nice to have:
- Experience in fitness, sport, hospitality or another community facing industry
- Experience covering live events, sport or brand activations
- Existing relationships within the WA sport, fitness or creator community
- Photography and basic graphic design skills
- Prior community management or customer facing digital experience
