Elite is a trades business based in Laverton North, looking after services: plumbing, electrical and maintenance for homes and businesses across Melb and Vic. We've built our reputation on quality workmanship, attention to detail and genuine care for every customer (and yes, we always clean up after ourselves). We're a small but visionary team who are brilliant at fixing things and let's be honest, slightly less brilliant at filming them. That's where you come in!

About the role

We're looking for a creative, organised freelancer to bring the Elite brands to life online. You'll plan, shoot, edit and publish content that feels genuine to who we are and speaks to the real problems our customers face, from the burst pipe at 2am to the renovation that's been "nearly finished" for three years. You'll work alongside our Head of Growth & Marketing and Directors, but the creative process is yours to own from idea to post. We'll supply the hi-vis. You bring the ideas.

What you'll do

- Plan and produce a big picture content calendar across our active digital platforms
- Shoot and edit short-form video, Reels and photography (our team are surprisingly good at striking a pose)
- Write captions that sound like us and speak to all our customers
- Schedule and publish content, and chat with our community
- Track performance and share weekly insights on what's working and what's not
- Stay across trends in our industry and pitch fresh ideas, no matter how wild.

What you'll bring

- Proven experience creating social content for a brand and/or business
- A portfolio that shows off your best work
- Confidence with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom or Canva
- A strong eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail
- Reliability and clear communication when working independently
- An ABN
- A drone, if you have one. Not essential, but our DJI Osmo Pocket would love a friend

Nice to have

- Experience with trade services, construction or D2C brands
- Basic knowledge of paid social or digital ads
- Graphic design skills if any
- A curious mind, a love of learning and a high tolerance for tradie humour. Don't worry, we'll teach you the lingo

The details

- Freelance contract, around 10 to 15 hours a week, spread however suits you
- Rate negotiable based on experience
- Start date: Early November 2026
- In office shoots across Melbourne and regional Victoria when needed
- A desk in our Laverton North office whenever you'd like one (coffee included, quality not guaranteed)
