About the role

Reporting to the Social Media Manager at Muscle Nation HQ in Brisbane, this is a content role for someone one to two years into their career.

You'll create content for TikTok and three Instagram accounts (Main, Food and Mens). Most of your week is spent filming, being on camera and editing. You'll come up with your own ideas as well as working from the content calendar, and you'll be in videos regularly, so you need to be comfortable in front of the camera.

Around the content, you'll help keep the accounts running by writing captions, getting posts scheduled, and keeping an eye on what's working.

Key responsibilities

- Film, appear in and edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories across activewear, supplements and food
- Come up with content ideas each week and pitch them to the social team
- Create content for new collection drops, product launches and sales, working from the content calendar
- Jump on trends, sounds and formats quickly, and adapt them so they suit Muscle Nation
- Shoot photo and video for Stories, carousels and day-to-day posts
- Capture behind the scenes content at shoots, events, athlete sessions and around the office
- Write captions and on-screen text in brand voice
- Schedule and publish posts across accounts
- Track how content performs and share what you've learned with the team

About you

- One to two years creating social content, whether in a role, freelance work, an internship or building your own channels
- Confident filming and editing short-form video on a phone




- Strong CapCut skills. Premiere Pro or Canva experience is a bonus
- Comfortable on camera, including talking to camera, try-ons and product demos
- A good understanding of how TikTok and Instagram work, including hooks, trends and what gets shared
- Solid writing skills for captions and on-screen text
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with consistent turnaround times
- Interested in health and fitness, and happy to film in the gym and the kitchen
- Links to your own social profiles or content you've made for a brand are required with your application
