Data#3 is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership across a portfolio of building, infrastructure and facilities technology projects. You'll work where physical infrastructure, operational technology, networks, enterprise applications and cloud platforms meet, and make sure projects are designed and delivered as integrated, supportable solutions.

You'll be the main point of architectural coordination between facilities and infrastructure stakeholders, IT, cyber security and external delivery partners. Your job is to get technology considered early in planning and keep critical projects on track.

Duties

- Own solution architecture across a portfolio of building and infrastructure technology projects, from concept through to delivery
- Produce architecture documentation including SADs, ADRs, integration designs and technical specifications
- Work with facilities, infrastructure and OT teams early in planning to define technology requirements
- Design how building systems, OT, networks, cloud and enterprise applications integrate securely




- Review vendor and project designs for compliance with architecture, cyber security and data standards
- Shape technical requirements for tenders and take part in vendor evaluations
- Run workshops and present recommendations to steering groups and senior stakeholders

Skills and experience

- Senior solution architect with a robust delivery track record in complex enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure, operational technology, facilities or smart building projects
- Solid integration architecture background across platforms, applications and third-party products
- Experience designing solutions that span cloud, infrastructure and enterprise applications
- Familiar with architecture frameworks and governance (e.g. TOGAF)
- Good grasp of cyber security, risk and compliance considerations
- Experience contributing to procurement and technical evaluations
- Confident facilitator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
