The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Sous or Sous Chef who’s calm, capable, and enjoys being part of a strong team. Someone who takes pride in their section, enjoys a busy breakfast and lunch service, and values structure and consistency.

You’ll be hands-on in the kitchen, mostly on the pans, running service, supporting the Head Chef and helping guide the junior team. There’s plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas to daily specials, develop your skills and take pride in the food you put out, all within a stable,



well-organised kitchen where the team works together and standards are genuinely valued.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Running your section with focus, care, and pride
- Supporting the Head Chef and stepping up when needed
- Helping train and mentor junior team members
- Keeping things consistent and organised during service
- Contributing to specials and new menu ideas
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness

- Proven experience as a Junior Sous or Sous in a quality dining setting
- Strong cooking skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Great communicator who works well with others
- A team player who values structure, respect, and pride in their work
