Gardening Direct is an Australian ecommerce business selling gardening products online through WooCommerce. Orders are growing, and we're moving to Starshipit to make shipping faster, simpler and easier to manage.
The role
We want an experienced Starshipit user to set the platform up properly and then help us manage it after that. At the start, expect 10–15 hours a week while we get set up. After that, we'll need ongoing support for things like changes, fixing problems and making improvements.
What you'll do
- Set up and configure Starshipit for our WooCommerce store and order flow
- Connect our courier accounts ([Australia Post / Aramex / StarTrack / other])
- Set up shipping rules, packaging, labels, branded tracking and notifications
- Test everything end to end before we go live
- Train our team and write simple step-by-step guides
- Fix any issues after launch and keep things running smoothly
- Suggest ways to cut shipping costs and save time
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience setting up Starshipit
- Experience with WooCommerce
- A valuable understanding of ecommerce fulfilment and Australian couriers
- Clear communication and the ability to explain things in plain English
- Reliable, organised and happy working on your own
Nice to have
- Experience shipping bulky, heavy or awkward-shaped items
- Experience with international shipping or customs paperwork
- Experience with returns setup
