The 24 Seven BP Roadhouse in Port Wakefield is looking for a Stock and Site Attendant to join our team. This is a hands-on role behind the scenes that keeps the store stocked, clean and running smoothly for our customers and staff. Casual shifts are available, including morning and evening shifts, weekends and public holidays, with plenty of hours available over the December and January holiday period. This is a local role and candidates will require their own accommodation in the area.
The 24 Seven Group operates a number of roadhouse cafes in various locations around Australia. We are a South Australian family-owned business and enjoy welcoming our customers, who mainly include travellers, tourists, truck drivers and locals, both regulars and those passing through.
Reporting to the Site Manager, responsibilities include:
- Receiving deliveries and putting stock away
- Restocking drink fridges, shelves and storerooms
- Rotating stock and checking dates
- Emptying bins and managing rubbish and recycling across the site
- Cleaning and restocking customer toilets throughout the shift
- Keeping the forecourt, car park and outdoor areas clean and tidy
- Helping other team members during busy periods
What will make you successful?
- Ability to do regular lifting and carrying of stock and to spend most of your shift on your feet
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work through a task list without close supervision
- Willingness to take direction and act on it promptly
- Reliable attendance and positive timekeeping
- Clear communication with the Site Manager and the rest of the team
Experience in retail, warehousing, cleaning or hospitality is helpful but not essential. Paid training is provided once employment commences.
All employees are required to obtain a National Police Check prior to employment.
