About The Role
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our national parts distribution centre. This varied role combines warehouse administration, inventory integrity, dealer credits, inbound shipment processing and operational performance reporting. - Coordinate and process dealer credit claims, stock returns and annual dealer stock swaps in accordance with company policies and agreed timeframes.
- Investigate warehouse and supplier discrepancies, manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Process inbound shipment documentation and maintain accurate records for local and international parts deliveries.
- Support inventory integrity initiatives, including stock investigations, cycle counts, location management and warehouse improvement projects.
- Monitor and report on inbound warehouse KPIs,
identifying performance trends and opportunities to improve productivity, receiving accuracy and processing times.
- Work closely with our third-party logistics provider to resolve operational issues and maintain efficient warehouse processes.
- Assist with the administration and coordination of international distributor orders, freight arrangements and shipping documentation.
- Prepare operational reports and support warehouse audits, quality requirements and compliance activities.
- Liaise with dealers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve enquiries and ensure timely, accurate communication.
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy and customer service.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll be comfortable working across multiple priorities, investigating discrepancies and collaborating with different teams to achieve positive outcomes.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience in warehouse operations, distribution centre administration, inventory control or a related supply chain environment.
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving inventory or operational discrepancies.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate data and records.
- Good computer skills and confidence working with warehouse management systems, spreadsheets and operational reports.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Previous experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle parts industry, working with third-party logistics providers or supporting warehouse performance reporting would be highly regarded.
Initially this role will be based full time in our office in Truganina, moving to 2 days working from home after 6 months.
