We are moving our supply chain from execution to strategy. As Planning & Inventory Manager, you will lead the next stage of our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and drive a more proactive, commercially focused approach to supply and inventory planning across Australia and New Zealand.

About the role

You will oversee supply planning across three manufacturing plants, imports and seven distribution centres, with a explicit mandate to reduce cost, release working capital and improve service.

Leading a team of seven across supply and inventory planning, demand planning, IBP and buying, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, Logistics and Operations, reporting to the Operations Director ANZ.

With Kinaxis already live and our transition from M3 to SAP ahead, you will have a genuine opportunity to shape our planning processes, systems and capabilities for the future.

What you will do:

- Transform IBP: Redesign planning processes, governance and decision-making to improve cross-functional alignment and forward visibility.

- Optimise supply and inventory: Set inventory policies, safety stocks and target stock levels across our manufacturing and distribution network.

- Drive commercial results: Reduce supply chain costs, excess and obsolete inventory, expediting and working capital while protecting service levels.

- Strengthen demand planning: Improve forecast accuracy and align demand plans with Sales, Marketing and Finance.

- Maximise planning systems: Build on Kinaxis capabilities, including scenario planning and inventory optimisation, while supporting the transition to SAP.

- Improve network performance: Optimise sourcing, supplier strategy, manufacturing lot sizes, MOQs and distribution models.

- Turn plans into results: Translate demand and IBP plans into executable supply plans, balancing service, cost and capacity.

- Lead and develop: Build a high-performing team,



influence senior stakeholders and embed a more strategic planning culture across ANZ.

What you will bring:

You are a commercially minded supply chain leader with a track record of transforming planning into a strategic business function, delivering measurable cost and working capital improvements, and building high-performing teams.

You will bring:

- Proven experience leading supply and inventory planning across a multi-site manufacturing and distribution network.

- Experience improving IBP/S&OP; processes and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

- Experience leading supply chain transformation, including ERP implementations or transitions (SAP preferred).

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop teams and influence senior stakeholders across the business.

- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to turn data into insights, build business cases and drive informed decisions.

- Experience with advanced planning systems and processes, including MPS/MRP, S&OE; and inventory policy.

- A relevant tertiary qualification, APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP), and experience with sourcing, supplier strategy, M3, BI tools or AI in supply chain planning would be advantageous.
