Byrnecut is one of the world's leading underground contract mining companies, with more than 30 years of industry experience and operations across Australia and internationally.

As our international operations continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Supply & Logistics Coordinator to support our overseas project sites and ensure effective supply chain, logistics and inventory processes are established and maintained.

This is a roving international/offshore role, providing an opportunity to work across Byrnecut's overseas operations and support projects through mobilisation, operations and demobilisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing site-based supply chain capability, supporting local teams and ensuring our Pronto ERP processes are implemented and consistently followed.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager – Supply Chain, the Supply & Logistics Coordinator will work closely with site management, stores, procurement, logistics and operational teams to ensure materials, parts and consumables are effectively managed and available when required.

A key focus of the role will be the setup, training and utilisation of Pronto, ensuring site personnel understand and follow the required requisitioning, purchasing, goods receipting and inventory processes.

You will also support the establishment of warehouse and laydown areas, develop local logistics capability and coordinate with the Group Logistics function to ensure the productive movement of materials and equipment across international supply chains.

This is a highly hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in dynamic project environments, solving problems and building capability within site teams.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of requisitions,

purchase orders and goods receipting.

- Ensure physical receipts of goods are accurately recorded to maintain traceability and meet internal audit requirements.

- Conduct stock audits, inventory reconciliations and stock checks as required.

- Monitor inventory and support effective stock control across project sites.

- Coordinate with the Group Logistics and Procurement teams to ensure site requirements are processed efficiently.

- Support the offshore purchasing function through the shared purchasing queue.

- Coordinate the movement of materials, parts and consumables to support production and maintenance requirements.

- Prioritise freight and logistics activities for production-critical and breakdown-related items.

- Liaise with transport providers, freight forwarders, suppliers and vendors.

- Support international freight, export documentation and Customs requirements.

- Assist with project demobilisation, including documentation, packing, loading and international freight coordination.

- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce costs and increase efficiency.

- Provide hands-on support and problem solving across changing project and site requirements.

- Undertake other duties as directed by the General Manager – Supply Chain and Site Project Manager.

About you

You will be a practical and adaptable supply chain professional who is comfortable working in remote and international project environments.

You will have the ability to build strong relationships with local teams, train and mentor personnel, and ensure supply chain processes are understood and consistently applied.

Pronto experience is highly desirable, and you should be confident working with ERP systems and applying purchasing, goods receipting and inventory processes in a practical operational environment.

You will bring:

- Previous experience in supply, logistics, inventory, procurement or site administration,

preferably within mining, construction or the resources sector.
