The Role

Structural Engineer

Reporting to the Structural Engineering Manager you are responsible for delivering structural engineering solutions across a range of mineral processing projects.

The role contributes to the design, analysis, and documentation of structural systems, supporting project delivery from concept through to execution.

Working within a multidisciplinary team this position also plays a key role in ensuring designs are efficient, compliant, and aligned with client and project requirements.

The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis.

Brief Duties

- Deliver structural design and analysis for mineral processing facilities, including steel and concrete structures
- Develop and check engineering calculations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements
- Perform structural modelling and analysis using SpaceGASS and Strand7
- Produce and review technical deliverables, including reports,



specifications, and design documentation
- Interface effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated design outcomes
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to execution
- Contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement

Criteria

- Degree-qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in an engineering and/or project delivery environment
- Strong capability in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures
- Experience in mining preferred, but will consider a background in buildings and infrastructure
- Strong experience with Australian Standards and Australian Building Codes
- Strong working knowledge of SpaceGASS and/or Strand7
- Practical, solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Valid Australian working rights
