We’re working with a well-established, medium-sized structural engineering consultancy in Melbourne that is looking to add an Intermediate Structural Engineer to their team.

The consultancy works across a genuinely diverse range of building projects, including apartments, aged care, childcare and kindergarten facilities, community and cultural buildings.

It’s a great chance for an engineer who wants to broaden their project experience, strengthen their technical skills and take on more responsibility.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and be involved across the design process, including:

- Structural analysis and design
- Design calculations and engineering solutions
- ETABS modelling and analysis
- Structural documentation
- Working across a variety of building projects
- Progressively taking ownership of project components

This is suited to someone who has a good grounding in structural engineering and is ready to move towards greater independence, responsibility and technical ownership.

About You We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with 3–5 years’ experience, ideally gained within an Australian engineering consultancy.

You’ll have





- A relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree
- 3–5 years’ structural engineering experience
- Australian consultancy experience
- Strong structural analysis and design fundamentals
- ETABS experience
- Experience with structural calculations and documentation
- Good communication and stakeholder skills
- A genuine interest in building structures and continued technical development
