Removify
Melbourne
In a nutshell
Removify is hiring across almost every part of the business: sales, content removal, product and tech, finance and operations, and our first US-based team. We need one person to own all of it.
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll take each role from the first conversation with the hiring manager to an accepted offer. You'll source candidates directly, run every stage of the process, and keep candidates and hiring managers moving so nothing stalls.
This is a hands-on, in-house role with real ownership. You won't be supporting someone else's process. You'll run the backlog yourself, with direct access to our Founder and a purpose-built set of AI recruitment tools behind you.
Why Removify?
Removify is an award-winning, Melbourne-founded tech company helping businesses defend and repair their online reputations. Since launching in 2019 we've grown quickly, and we now serve customers across Australia, the US, the UK, Canada and Europe.
We're a close-knit team of around 40, so every hire makes a visible difference. Getting the right people into the right seats is now one of the biggest levers on how rapid we grow.
What You'll Be Owning
Every role, end to end
- Take each approved role from brief to accepted offer and handover to the hiring manager
- Build the role spec and candidate profile with each hiring manager, using our AI recruitment tools
- Keep a current status and next step for every open role
Sourcing and pipelines
- Find candidates directly through LinkedIn, Seek, your network and referrals
- Build standing pipelines for roles we hire often, such as SDRs and our Content Removal team
- Run US hiring processes across time zones, with a US-based recruiter sourcing
A consistent, structured process
- Run every role through our process: scorecards, structured interviews, a hands-on exercise and reference checks
- Prepare interviewers, schedule every stage, collect feedback and organise the debrief
Tools and reporting
- Get JobAdder working properly and run it day to day
- Report pipeline, time to fill and cost per hire every week
- Use our AI recruitment toolkit daily, and help make it better
Candidate experience
- Make sure every candidate gets a timely, honest response, whether or not they get the job
What we're looking for Must-haves
- 3 to 6 years in recruitment, with at least 2 in house, personally owning roles from brief to offer
- Experience hiring across different functions, such as sales, technical, operations or finance, including sales roles
- Volume hiring (for example SDRs or a service team) run alongside specialist roles
- Direct sourcing as your default way of finding people
- Hands-on experience with scorecards, structured interviews, work samples and reference checks
- You use AI tools every day in your work
- Organised enough to run 15 or more processes at once and keep every candidate informed
- Based in Melbourne, able to work from our South Yarra office 3 days a week, with full Australian work rights
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in tech, SaaS or digital services
- Hiring into the US or another overseas market, or offshore hiring (particularly in the Philippines)
- Shaping a brand-new role with a hiring manager before going to market
- Configuring or migrating an ATS
- An agency background earlier in your career, followed by in-house
Who this role is for You treat an open role as your problem until it's filled. You follow up until you have the feedback, the interview slot or the decision you need, and you speak up early when a role is at risk. You're curious about what each role actually involves, because you can't find or assess the right person until you understand the seat. You like tools, you're already getting real value from AI, and you want to go further with it.
This Role Is
What this role is (and isn't)
- Ownership of our entire hiring backlog, across very different roles
- Hands-on: sourcing, screening and running processes yourself
- A seat with direct access to our Founder and real influence on who joins
This role isn't
- A people management role
- General HR, employee relations or payroll
- Employer brand events or engagement surveys
The perks
- $100,000 - $115,000 + super, plus placement bonuses for the roles you fill
- Hybrid: 3 days a week in our South Yarra office
- A purpose-built AI recruitment toolkit, used properly rather than talked about
- Supportive, down-to-earth and team-first culture
- Catered team lunches every Friday, plus monthly pub lunches
- Big on recognition: we celebrate wins, milestones and the people behind them
- Ongoing learning and development
If you want to own hiring end to end at a business where every hire counts, we'd love to hear from you.
