Position: Tandoor Chef (Naan specialist)

The Role

You will take ownership of our tandoor section, with a primary focus on producing outstanding naan and tandoor breads that complement our premium menu. Consistency, timing, and attention to detail are essential in our high-performance kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of naan breads (plain, butter, garlic, stuffed, and seasonal specialties) in a traditional tandoor
- Manage dough preparation and portioning to exacting standards
- Maintain optimal tandoor temperature and fuel management
- Ensure consistency in texture, char, flavour, and presentation
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team on menu development




- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Contribute to efficient service during high-volume periods

About You

- Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef in a premium or high-volume restaurant
- Expertise in naan dough preparation and tandoor cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of traditional Indian bread-making methods
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment
- Pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
