Key Responsibilities

- Preparingandcookingmealstoestablishedqualityandpresentationstandards
- Followingrecipes,portionrequirementsandkitchenproceduresconsistently
- Organisingingredientsandcompletingmiseenplacebeforeservice
- Managingmultiplecookingtasksefficientlyduringbusyperiods
- Workingcloselywithseniorkitchenstaffandotherteammembers
- Maintainingclean,sanitisedandwell-organisedpreparationandcookingareas




- Checkingfoodquality,freshnessandappropriatestoragethroughoutkitchenoperations
- Monitoringingredientavailabilityandcommunicatingstockrequirements
- Followingfoodsafety,hygieneandworkplacesafetyproceduresatalltimes
- Assistingwithsmoothkitchenserviceandrespondingappropriatelytocustomerrequirements
- Cleaningandmaintainingkitchenequipmentandworkareas
- Supportingotherkitchendutiesasrequiredtomaintainefficientdailyoperations

Requirements & Eligibility

- Minimum1–2yearsofcommercial Cookexperience
- Experienceworkinginabusyhospitalityorkitchenenvironment
- Strongunderstandingoffoodpreparation,cookingandkitchenhygienepractices
- Abilitytoconsistentlyfollowrecipesandestablishedprocedures
- Goodorganisationalskillswiththeabilitytoprioritisetasksunderpressure
- Reliable,responsibleandcommittedapproachtowork
- Strongcommunicationandabilitytoworkcollaborativelywithinakitchenteam
- Foodsafetycertificationorrelevantfoodsafetyknowledge
- Flexibilitytoworkevenings,weekendsandpublicholidays
