About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated full time Duty Manager to join our team at the Port Lincoln Hotel. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager and Assistant Manager, you will work a mix of morning, afternoon and nights shifts, with regular weekend work.
As a Duty Manager at the Port Lincoln Hotel you’ll develop the leadership skills you need to operate a large, diverse venue. You'll oversee up to 40 staff on a busy shift, lead the team on the ground and also provide management, leadership, staff training and development support.
If you're looking to take the next step in your hospitality career, and you've got a couple of year's experience duty managing or supervising in food or bar service please get in touch.
The successful applicant:
- Is a hands on supportive leader with excellent customer service skills
- Has 2-3 year’s experience in the hospitality industry (food, bar, gaming, TAB)
- Has experience as a Food and beverage supervisor or Duty Manager
- Is career-focused, motivated and eager to learn.
- Can think on their feet and has solid problem solving skills
- Has an good eye for detail
- Has a can do attitude
- Ideally is badged as a gaming manager and responsible person
