The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum General Medicine Registrar / SRMO to support General Medicine services on the NSW Mid North Coast.
This role suits general medicine registrars and SRMOs who want to work in a coastal region and explore it between blocks, with accommodation and travel support provided.
The placement offers night blocks of 20:00 to 08:30 from October through to December, and 8 hour day shifts in January, at $120 to $200 per hour.

Clinical Environment
• General Medicine ward role, assessing patients in the ED and on the ward and initiating first line therapies
• Two General Medicine teams, with ward rounds alongside the rostered VMO team on day shifts
• Night SRMO blocks of a week at a time, working alongside the General Medicine Registrar team
• Liaison with the admitting consultant to formulate management plans

Requirements
• Current AHPRA registration as a General Medicine registrar or SRMO
• At least 2 years post-graduate experience for the SRMO night blocks
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families and carers
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete onboarding
