An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Senior Associate to join a well-respected commercial legal practice in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a lawyer with a strong background in real estate, eager to make an impact by working on complex, high-value transactions in thriving sectors such as infrastructure, tourism, aviation, and property development.
This position offers a unique chance to play a pivotal role in growing a regulatory and project-focused practice, contributing to innovative legal solutions, and advising prominent domestic and international clients.

What the role involves:

As a key member of the team, you will:

- Advise on acquisitions, disposals, and development projects for commercial, industrial, and retail assets.
- Provide strategic counsel to major developers, airport operators, and tourism leaders on transformative projects.
- Assist with capital transactions and regulatory compliance for high-profile clients.
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including tenders, heads of agreement, and bespoke commercial arrangements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on national and global projects.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, engaging with industry leaders to foster client relationships.

About you:

To excel in this role, you will:

- Possess at least 7 years of post-admission experience in real estate law, ideally gained in a private practice environment.
- Bring a proactive, commercially astute mindset to complex legal matters.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of supporting junior team members.




- Be an excellent communicator, capable of building lasting client relationships and working collaboratively across teams.
- Thrive in a high-performing environment, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Corporate law experience is a plus but not essential.
