Position Title: Boilermaker Welder - Goldfields local
SBS Engineering is a locally owned business specialising in Fixed Plant & Mobile Plant Equipment.
As a result of the company’s continuous growth, we are looking for experienced Metal Fabricators (Boilermakers/Welders) to join our team in the Goldfields. Applicants must be local to the Goldfields area.
The Role: Fabrication & Assembly, Metalworking, Maintenance & Repair. The position includes working on site, attending breakdowns and working in the workshop.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Cutting, bending and shaping metal components
- Assembling and welding fabricated parts
- Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
- Performing routine maintenance on fabrication machinery
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate III or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years full time experience as a Metal Fabricator
- National Police Certificate
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights Certification < 2 years
- Confined Space Certification < 2 years
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
