About Us

Meeka Metals Limited (ASX:MEK) owns and operates the Murchison Gold Project, located 50 km north of Meekatharra.

The project comprises both open pit and underground mining, with an initial mine life of 9 years. Gold production commenced in July 2025 and site activities are rapidly ramping up.

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters to undertaking planned and reactive breakdown maintenance work on our gold processing plant.

About the Role

Reporting to the maintenance leadership team, you will maintain and improve the reliability of fixed plant assets including jaw and cone crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, pumps, pipework, valves and associated equipment. You will also support the operation and ongoing optimisation of the ore sorter and its associated material handling systems.

The position is offered on an attractive 8 days on / 6 days off roster, FIFO ex-Perth.

Responsibilities

- Perform planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and mechanical improvements across fixed plant and associated infrastructure.

- Maintain crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, pumps, piping, valves and associated processing equipment.

- Maintain and troubleshoot the ore sorter and associated equipment, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and performance.

- Assist with planning, preparation and execution of major plant shutdowns.

- Identify and implement improvements to plant availability, equipment reliability and operational safety.

- Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs),



Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and equipment isolations in accordance with site requirements.

- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to minimise downtime and support operational targets.

- Maintain high housekeeping standards across work areas, tools, equipment and spare parts.

- Contribute to a positive team environment and support the training and development of apprentices.

About You

You will be a proactive, safety-focused tradesperson with proven fixed plant maintenance experience in mining or mineral processing, ideally within a gold processing operation:

- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (essential).

- Current manual Australian C Class driver’s licence (essential).

- Demonstrated experience maintaining crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, pumps, piping and valves.

- Ability to diagnose mechanical failures, prioritise breakdown work and execute maintenance safely and efficiently.

- Practical experience with permit-to-work systems, equipment isolations and risk assessments.

- Solid communication, teamwork, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ore sorter maintenance and/or commissioning experience is highly desirable,



including associated conveyors, screening, pneumatic and material-handling systems.

- Gold processing plant experience, Senior First Aid certification and experience working with OEM technicians will be viewed favourably.
