About the role

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Allied Health Professionals to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives whilst working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team in Canberra. In this role, you will provide high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to a diverse range of clients across various age groups and conditions. You will play a vital role in helping patients regain function, manage pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based interventions and personalised treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical function, mobility and rehabilitation needs

- Developing and implementing individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient assessment findings and clinical best practice

- Delivering therapeutic interventions and exercises to support patient recovery, pain management, and functional improvement

- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as required to optimise clinical outcomes

- Providing education and advice to patients regarding their condition, self-management strategies, and prevention of further injury

- Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation and patient records in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements





- Collaborating with other allied health professionals, medical practitioners, and support staff to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care

- Contributing to the professional development of the team through knowledge sharing and cooperative practice

- Adhering to all infection control protocols, health and safety regulations, and professional ethical guidelines

- Comfortable working across both individual and group-based services.

What we're looking for

- A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, OR a completed or relevant Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or health-related discipline. (Applicants with a background in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Human Biology, Health Science, Exercise Science or another relevant health discipline are particularly encouraged to apply.)

- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with the ability to develop effective, individualised care plans

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple patient caseloads effectively

- Proficiency with electronic health records systems and Microsoft Office applications

- A valid driver's licence and own transport

- WWVP, First Aid, CPR, National Police Check,



and up-to-date vaccinations relevant to working in healthcare/community settings.
