About the Opportunity
Partisan Protective Services (PPS) is seeking an experienced, motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager – Security & Electronic Security to join our growing organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established security industry professional with a proven track record of generating new business, securing commercial security contracts and developing long-term client relationships throughout New South Wales.
We are specifically looking for someone who has a strong understanding of both physical security services and electronic security solutions, with the ability to identify, develop and convert opportunities across both divisions.
Applicants MUST have a minimum of five (5) years of proven business development experience within the NSW security industry and demonstrated experience in electronic security.
This is not an entry-level sales position. We are looking for an experienced professional who understands the NSW security market, has established industry relationships and can demonstrate genuine sales achievements.

As our operations continue to expand across NSW and nationally, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving current business growth and strengthening our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities throughout NSW.
- Actively prospecting and generating new commercial security leads.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with facility managers, property managers, commercial clients, government organisations and key decision-makers.
- Securing new contracts for Static Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Alarm Monitoring and Alarm Response services.
- Identifying and developing opportunities for CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and other electronic security solutions.
- Conducting client meetings, site inspections and security assessments.
- Preparing professional proposals, quotations, presentations and tender submissions.
- Working closely with our Technical Services team to develop electronic security solutions and project proposals.
- Promoting PPS’s 24/7 Alarm Monitoring and integrated security capabilities.
- Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract award and client handover.
- Negotiating commercial agreements within approved company pricing structures.
- Maintaining an active and accurate sales pipeline.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
- Building strategic relationships with commercial property groups, facility management companies and other industry partners.
- Attending industry networking events,
client meetings and business development functions.
- Providing regular sales forecasts, activity reports and pipeline updates to the General Manager.
- Achieving agreed monthly and annual business development targets.
Mandatory Experience & Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants MUST meet both of the following requirements.
1. Minimum Five Years’ NSW Security Industry Experience
Applicants must demonstrate:
- A minimum of five (5) years of proven business development or sales experience within the security industry in New South Wales.
- A demonstrated history of securing new security contracts and generating revenue.
- Strong knowledge of the NSW security industry and competitive market.
- Established professional relationships within the security, property or facilities management sectors.
- Experience selling security services to commercial, industrial, retail or government clients.
- Proven ability to independently identify, pursue and convert business opportunities.
- Experience preparing proposals, pricing submissions and commercial tenders.
2. Electronic Security Experience – Essential
Demonstrated electronic security experience is mandatory for this position.
Applicants must have practical commercial knowledge and experience selling or developing solutions involving:
- CCTV and IP Video Surveillance Systems.
- Access Control Systems.
- Intruder Alarm Systems.
- Alarm Monitoring and Communication Technologies.
- Video Management Systems.
- Remote CCTV Monitoring and Video Verification.
- Integrated Electronic Security Solutions.
- Electronic Security Installation, Upgrades and Maintenance.
The successful applicant must be confident discussing electronic security requirements with clients, identifying appropriate solutions and working alongside technical personnel to develop accurate and commercially competitive proposals.
Applicants with experience limited to static guarding or manpower security services, without electronic security experience, will not be considered.
Highly Regarded Experience

- Government and local council security contracts.
- Commercial property and facilities management.
- Shopping centres and retail security.
- Industrial, logistics and distribution facilities.
- Corporate security contracts.
- Security tender preparation and procurement processes.
- Alarm Monitoring and recurring revenue contracts.
- Electronic security system upgrades and major projects.
- Knowledge of established CCTV, alarm and access control manufacturers.
- Existing relationships with major property groups, facility management companies and commercial clients.
- Experience developing multi-service security contracts incorporating physical and electronic security.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving agreed performance targets, including:
- New business revenue generated.
- New security contracts secured.
- Electronic security projects and sales generated.
- Growth in recurring revenue from Alarm Monitoring and contracted security services.
- New client meetings and site visits completed.
- Qualified leads and opportunities generated.
- Sales pipeline development and conversion.
- Proposal and tender success rates.
- Development of new strategic client relationships.
- Cross-selling opportunities identified and converted.
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Accurate and timely reporting to the General Manager.
The Person We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who already understands the NSW security industry and knows how to develop business within it.
You will have the confidence and industry knowledge to approach potential clients, establish relationships, conduct site meetings, identify security requirements and present suitable solutions.
You must be comfortable selling both traditional security services and electronic security systems.
This role requires someone who can generate their own opportunities, develop a strong sales pipeline and deliver measurable results.
We are not looking for someone who simply waits for incoming enquiries. We want a proactive Business Development Manager who is prepared to get out into the market, meet clients, build relationships and secure new business.
You will work directly with the General Manager and have the support of our Operations Control Room, Technical Services team and operational management personnel.
