EXEC Security is seeking experienced security professionals to join our specialist Risk & Security team, supporting a high-profile private client within a sophisticated protective security environment.

These positions form part of an established, integrated security operation combining executive protection, protective surveillance, intelligence, risk management and rapid response capabilities.

The Role

Risk & Security Specialists operate across two key streams:

Close Personal Protection (CPP)
Providing professional close personal protection, secure movement support and proactive risk management. Responsibilities include threat awareness, movement planning, protective positioning and coordination with other elements of the security operation.

Protective Surveillance & Response
Providing mobile protective surveillance and rapid-response capability supporting the wider security operation. Responsibilities may include reconnaissance, advance work, patrols, surveillance and counter-surveillance, movement support and response to security incidents.

Both streams require exceptional judgement, discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role and deployment, responsibilities may include:

- Close personal protection and executive protection duties

- Protective surveillance and counter-surveillance

- Threat identification and agile risk assessment

- Secure movement and journey management

- Advance work and reconnaissance

- Mobile patrol and rapid-response activities

- Coordination with the Command Centre and other operational teams

- Incident and emergency response

- Accurate operational reporting and intelligence sharing





- Maintaining a high level of situational awareness

- Following established security protocols, SOPs and escalation procedures

- Maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding client information and operations

About You

We are looking for security professionals who demonstrate maturity, sound judgement and a calm, measured approach.

Candidates with backgrounds in specialist security, executive protection, policing, defence, corrections, intelligence, emergency services or other high-trust operational environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

You will ideally demonstrate:

- Experience within executive protection, specialist security or another relevant operational environment

- Strong situational awareness and risk identification skills

- Excellent judgement and decision-making under pressure

- A professional and discreet approach

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- High personal standards and integrity

- Ability to work effectively within a close-knit operational team

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and undertake domestic or international travel when required

Licensing & Requirements

Applicants should hold:

- Current Victorian Private Security Individual Licence

- Bodyguard endorsement – highly regarded and preferred

- Armed Guard endorsement – highly regarded

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Current First Aid qualifications

- Current passport, or ability to obtain one

- Ability to satisfy all required background and probity checks





Applicants with a strong operational background who do not currently hold all preferred endorsements may still be considered where there is a clear pathway to obtaining the required qualifications.
