About the role

Valentinos Italian Restaurant is seeking multiple experienced chefs to join our team in a busy, fast-paced Italian restaurant. We are recruiting for Experienced Grill Chef, Chef de partie, and Experienced Pizza Chef positions, each requiring proven expertise in their respective areas and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood and grilled dishes to a consistently high standard (Grill Chef)

- Cook steaks to the required temperatures and prepare seafood dishes in a busy restaurant environment (Grill Chef)

- Work on the pans, preparing pasta dishes, sauces and Italian specialties (Chef)

- Manage multiple orders simultaneously during busy service periods (Chef)

- Prepare and cook pizzas in a high-volume kitchen (Pizza Chef)

- Maintain excellent food preparation, presentation and quality standards

- Multitask and manage high volumes of orders during peak service





- Work efficiently and remain calm under pressure

- Work cooperatively in a team environment with strong communication skills

- Work independently as well as part of a team

About you

- Proven experience working in a busy, high-volume restaurant kitchen

- Experience with Italian cuisine is highly regarded

- Experience using a conveyor pizza oven is essential (Pizza Chef)

- Clean, organised, reliable with a strong work ethic

- Availability for afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends, school holidays and public holidays
