Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide their expertise using hand-welding equipment and/or semi-automated equipment to weld or join metal construction and fabrication components. The Boilermaker will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and copper, and will use a range of tools and equipment to complete their work.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of boilers, tanks, and other vessels
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a variety of tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, welding equipment, and cutting torches
Fabricate and assemble metal parts, using welding, brazing, and soldering equipment




Test and inspect completed work to ensure that it meets quality and safety standards
Carry out maintenance within the workshop, associated properties as required
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and mechanics, to complete projects

Qualifications:
Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
Robust knowledge of welding, brazing, and soldering techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools
Robust attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Positive communication and interpersonal skills
